The Monka Soccer Academy will begin to host multiple summer soccer programs for students interested in honing their soccer skills. The programs include soccer camps, the MSA Youth Academy and private lessons. The Monka Soccer Academy is committed to the development of players in the Camarillo and Ventura County areas and offers soccer training for whatever your soccer ambitions are. Check under programs for specific dates and times for the next available Youth Academy, soccer camp or private lesson.

MSA U9/U8 Developmental Team

The Monka Soccer Academy has a U9/U8 Developmental Team that is having tryouts. The team is currently in training on Mondays and Wednesdays at Valle Lindo Park. The team is purely developmental. The focus will be on skills, simple tactics and competition in order to prepare young athletes for a higher level of competition in the game of soccer. The team will train twice a week and play in a limited number of local games and scrimmages for the year. Any interested players should contact Bryan for more informtation.

 

March 20. 2010

Bryan Monka is named the Boy's Youth Director at the Eagles Soccer Club. Bryan will be overseeing the Boys U9 and U10 age groups in their technical and tactical development, recruiting as well as coaching the the Boys U9 and U10 teams.

The third season of the MSA Youth Academy will be commencing. There have been two great years of developing great players for Club, High School and AYSO. Bryan looks forward to working with returning students as well as meeting the new faces that want to sharpen their skills. Bryan coaches his final game of the season with the Oaks Christian JV Girls Soccer team. The team ended the season with a 5-0 win over Carpinteria. The scoring was led by Stephanie Cekov with 2 goals, 2 assists, Haley Binnette with 2 goals, 1 assist, Megan Huning with 1 goal and Nicole Thompson with an assist. The girls were great this year compiling an over all record of 14-3-3 and winning the league championship. The team was blessed with many great soccer players who were very coachable. Congratulations ladies!
